How seat sharing works
- Book an outstation or scheduled ride in the Vahigo app
- Tap Share Ride, then choose how many seats to share and the price per seat
- Send the link on WhatsApp, or show the ride to all Vahigo riders
- Co-riders join, and pay you directly

What is Vahigo seat sharing?
When you book an outstation or scheduled ride in the Vahigo app, you can offer the empty seats in your cab to people you know or to other Vahigo riders, and split the cost of the trip.
Who decides the seat price?
You do. The rider who booked the cab chooses how many seats to share and the price per seat.
How do co-riders pay?
Co-riders pay the rider who booked directly, outside the app. Vahigo does not collect this money — the app only lets the host mark whether a payment was received.
Which rides can be shared?
Outstation and scheduled rides. City rides that are booked for right now cannot be shared.
How do I invite someone?
Tap Share Ride on your booking and send the link on WhatsApp or any other app. You can also show the ride to all Vahigo riders.
Do co-riders need the app?
Yes — co-riders join the shared ride in the Vahigo app, which is free on Android.
